Help sexing a possible new family member? Empty Help sexing a possible new family member?

Post by Animal lover Sun 17 Jul 2016, 7:33 pm

So I'm currently looking for another male mouse (not to be with my current male mouse). I found an ad on an online website that people will re-home their pets, and I've gotten most of my mice from there. Recently I came across an ad for a mouse, and the person's description did include 'he' in it. Just to be safe I asked if they were certain it was a male, because I have two females now, and will be getting two more females in about a week. I don`t want more than 4 females, and I do want 2 males. After that huge description, I was wondering if anyone could take a look at this picture and confirm gender. The mouse does kind of look like a female, however I know that males can retract their testicles and all that. Thanks in advance for your help!

Looks like a boy to me, but the finger is covering up part of the area in question.

Looks like a male to me. Quite a large distance between the genitals and the anus.
