Introducing 1 mice to 5
We have a large home where we house 6 girls.
We have a smaller home where we house 3 girls which we call a nursery.
We get 3 girls at a time of the same age and when the 3 oldest in the larger home pass on we add the 3 younger after a neutral ground introduction for a couple of days.
This has been going really well until now...
Our larger home now has:
2 that are 2 years old
3 that are 18 months
Our nursery has only 1 mouse that is 1 years old as the 2 twins that she shared with and got on with have passed.
We have never introduced 1 mouse to 5 before as it has always been 3:3 or 3:2.
As anyone any advice on introducing to a large group?
We have tried a couple of neutrals and the 1 mouse with 5 seems terrified.
When we tried the 1 mouse with just 1 or 2 of the older mice she was feisty and stood on her back legs a lot.
