Show and fancies?
Hi everyone,
I have 2 pet fancy mice called Luna and Squeak. I am looking to get a third mouse, and I know someone who breeds *posh* champagne and tan show mice. Their mice have such good temperaments, health and coats, I am just in love! So I came here to ask, is it possible for a female show mouse to live with two female fancy mice?
Thanks for your responses.

Re: Show and fancies?
There shouldn't be any problems, other than the usual ones you would expect from any introduction. The only thing that I can think of that could potentially complicate things is if there is a major size difference between the show mice and the fancy mice. But even that isn't a deal breaker. It's always best to introduce mice that are roughly the same size. But at the end of the day, it really depends on temperament.

Great! I think I might get a nice one then. All the breeder's mic seem to be really docile, and Luna is just a little firecracker, and Squeak is aslo quite quiet, so I dont think there should be any problems.

Re: Show and fancies?
In the past I had a big fancy show mouse living with two "normal" mice. She was a lot bigger than the other two, but it wasn't a problem at all. I think her temperament was just so fantastic that she was just super gentle and welcoming to other mice. Show mice often have brilliant temperaments. Plus, if you think about it - whilst your new mouse may be bigger, there are two of the other mice so it kind of evens the playing field?
Out of curiosity, where abouts in England are you from? I am in Bristol myself

Re: Show and fancies?
Oh wow, that's really close! Is the breeder you know in Gloucestershire too?
I am currently looking for new mice myself, so if the breeder is happy to be contacted, is there any chance you could PM me an email address or something? If not, no worries - just thought it was worth asking
