Thanks! It was the smallest one they had. I believe it's the 4.5" one. Here's the link to it: http://www.petsmart.com/small-pet/toys-habitat-accessories/kaytee-silent-spinner-wheel-zid36-14401/cat-36-catid-600014?var_id=36-14401&_t=pfm%3Dsearch Aww, nice!
That could be the problem—mice need at least a 7 inch wheel

Remove that wheel and buy him a properly sized one. Running on it is going to extremely bad for his back. It could lead to health problems in the future.

Re: Mouse Supplies List
I only refill their bowl when they've eaten most of it. That way they're not just picking out favorites, yet food is always available. I make sure to look around the tank too for any piles of hidden food and I also pay close attention to how much food has gone to waste at every weekly clean. If there's a lot, I know to cut back on how much I'm refilling. If there is none, I know I'm not refilling enough.

Re: Mouse Supplies List
Ok, I finally got some pics for y'all!
Oh wow, I had no idea the wheel had to be 7". I got a new one today it's bigger but I measured and it's still not 7" so will be picking up another one tomorrow. That's awesome they can have millet since I also have a lovebird. What brands of treats are safe for him? I saw some today but was afraid they may be bad for him. They were called yogurt drops. How often should I clean his tank, weekly?

I think I got a little happy with his substrate but he has been having a blast making tunnels in it!
So now I still need the 7" wheel, chew sticks, millet, treats, and the MES. Anything else that I'm missing? I hope I added the pics right where you can see him!

Re: Mouse Supplies List
The 6.5 inch Silent Spinner is big enough for most mice. Not sure if that's what you have now, but thought I'd mention it just in case. That's really the smallest wheel recommended.
He's adorable! Yogurt drops are usually full of sugar (though there is a sugar free kind out there). I mostly skip pet store treats. They're just as pleased with healthier things like bits of fresh veggies, walnuts, pumpkin seeds, cheerios, mealworms, nori, puffed rice. Cleaning the tank out weekly is perfect. You can spot clean in between if needed.

He's adorable!
His tank looks quite bare, though. It can't be very fun or mentally stimulating for him. You should build him some MESs out of Popsicle sticks or cardboard. Check out the housing pictures sticky for more ideas.

He's adorable! You're off to a good start. I would also recommend adding some more MESs / toys. Otherwise, good job.

Re: Mouse Supplies List
Thanks y'all! I checked out the thread of y'alls mice homes and wow they are awesome and have given me some great ideas of things I can add to mine. I'm going shopping out of town early next week and will for sure be buying him more toys to help keep him occupied. Thanks for all of the compliments on him too!

He is sooooooooooooooooo cute! I bet he is loving making tunnels in the bedding. One thing that my Mickey loves is wooden ladders. I got him a couple different sizes from the bird toy section of PetSmart. Have fun!
