Aww! He's the cutest little guy ever. Usually I don't really go for PEWs—but he's just too cute Very Happy

What's the thing on the right side of the tank? It looks really cool, almost like a cargo net Smile

His home looks lovely. I've had some of that brown paper bedding before, the mice seemed to find it really fun to rustle about in Smile

Thanks all! he seems pretty happy with it Very Happy

The thing on the side of the tank is a bird toy I picked up at a pet shop. Very lazy of me - it would be super easy to make.

From the pics I've posted can anyone tell me if Collin's weight is too high? I think he's gotten quite a bit bigger since I found him, but I'm not sure how to tell an overweight mouse from a healthy mouse yet.

I'm used to guinea pigs, so scaling down the quantities feels very unnatural to me! Laughing Laughing Laughing

He looks healthy to me. Doesn't seem particularly chubby.

Colin looks nice and chunky, but not unhealthy or fat to me Smile

Hi All,

Just wanted to give you all an update.

Collin did super well at his vet appointment. He was a little nervous but very brave and didn't complain much at all! They said he looked very well and took some of his poo for testing.

Other than that we have just been enjoying each other's company...And having way too much fun making a new play pen for him... Some pictures as evidence:

He's so cute!  Glad to hear he's doing well. I think I've seen some of those wooden items at Michael's craft store?  Very neat!
