Sterilizing stones?
If anyone knows how to safely sterilize stones / rocks, please tell! I think I remember seeing a tutorial somewhere, but I've lost it now.

I boiled my brick for about 20 minutes, but you could also just soak them in bleach and then rinse and let them dry completely.

I just soak and scrub in hot soapy (dish soap) water. I think some rocks can break apart when boiled, so be careful with that.

I believe rocks can actually EXPLODE if boiled or baked due to gases expanding in pockets in the stone, so yeah hot soapy water then rinse really well. That is what I have done with all of mine.
