Materials to make homemade bedding?
I'm thinking of just using my own homemade bedding for my mice. But I don't want to use anything unless I know it's safe. At first I was thinking newspaper scraps the ink might be toxic (Especially since my little mice like to chew on their bedding)? Would normal printer paper be good? Idk if that would cause any cuts.
Thanks~
Thanks~

Plain black and white newspaper, as long as you live in the United States, is said to be ok. There are different thoughts about printer paper, but it is said to contain bleach, and too much bleach is not good. So newspaper is recommended over printer paper. Also, if you want to add some color, construction paper is great for that!

Printer paper is okay too, as long as there's no ink on it. If you're worried about paper cuts you could just crumble the shredded pieces up a bit.
